About Delfosse Vineyards and Winery -

DelFosse Vineyards & Winery was established in 2000 in the Monticello AVA wine region. The location is exquisite, hugged between the hills, but with the elevation to guarantee not only flavorful wine but also breathtaking views. A brief thirty-minute drive from Charlottesville will lead you to our scenic location where you can experience the solitude of the Virginia countryside.

We offer a variety of activities for your enjoyment. Take a tour of the vineyard, one of the only terraced vineyards in the state. Taste our unique variety of wines, ranging from Merlot to Petit Manseng. Bring the family and enjoy a calm picnic by the lake. Soon you will be able to enjoy a hike or a bike ride on one of the many trails we are creating that will surround the vineyard.

The area, which spans over 330 acres, will eventually include five miles of hiking and biking trails, a functional spring for the bottling of spring water, and historically preserved buildings. So go climb a mountain—and reward yourself with some wine upon your return.
